31 in most midstate municipalities

As the calendar turns to fall events, here's a treat for little witches and ghouls. Trickortreat night www.officialfootballcowboys.com this year actually will fall on Oct. 31 in the majority of Morris Claiborne Black Jersey midstate municipalities.

No more confusion about when trickortreat will be held. No more having to explain to kids why the bewitching night of fun and candy can't happen on Halloween day.

This year, it looks as though the tide is changing.

Camp Hill is hosting trickortreat Oct. 31 and so are several East Shore communities. Susquehanna, Lower Paxton and Swatara townships are all hosting trickortreat nights on Oct. 31, according to each of the municipality's websites.

This evening, the West Hanover Township Supervisors is scheduled to vote on a trickortreat date at their meeting, and according to a township spokeswoman, Oct. 31 is the preferred date.
